Terms

These terms are a contract between you and YOTEZIC LTD ("we"). They cover using Examlane and buying a pass. Last updated 2026-10-29.

1. Who we are

YOTEZIC LTD is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16984081, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Email [email protected].

2. What Examlane is, and is not

• Examlane is a study aid for the CDL knowledge tests. It is not a government service, and we are not connected to any DMV or state licensing agency.
• We do not have your state's test questions. Our questions are written in our own words from the CDL manual.
• We do not promise that you will pass. Readiness and mock-test scores use your answers in Examlane only and do not predict your result.
• Examlane is not Entry-Level Driver Training and does not count toward any federal training requirement.
• Your state's manual and rules come first. If our material and your state's manual disagree, follow your state.

3. Free use

Anyone can use the free part of Examlane without an account or payment. We may change what is free.

4. The pass

• The 60-day pass costs US$24.99 and lasts 60 days from the day you pay.
• The 12-month pass costs US$39.99 and lasts 365 days from the day you pay.
• A pass unlocks every practice test, every chapter, unlimited mock tests and review, for the whole of its length. The end date is shown when you pay and is built into your pass code.
• A pass is one payment. It never renews and never charges you again. There is nothing to cancel.
• The 12-month pass is our option for people who study slowly or need to retake a test. It ends after 12 months whether or not you have passed.
• The price shown before you pay is the total in US dollars, plus any sales tax shown at checkout.
• The pass is sold only to buyers in the 50 states and Washington, DC: you buy from there, with a card whose billing address is there too. Military addresses (APO, FPO and DPO) and the US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US Minor Outlying Islands) are not included yet. From elsewhere the payment page does not open, so a US buyer abroad can buy once back. If a payment is made with any other billing address, no pass code is issued and we refund the payment in full within five working days of the payment. The refund can take a few days to show on your card.
• A pass is for one person. Do not share your pass code. If a code is shared widely, we may stop it and offer the buyer a new one.

5. Refunds

You can have a full refund on request within 14 days of paying, for any reason. Our refund policy explains how. This does not reduce any rights the law gives you.

6. Your progress

Your answers, reviews and settings are kept in your browser on your device, not by us. If you clear your browser data or change device, your progress does not come with you, but your pass code still works if you kept it.

7. Rules for using Examlane

• You must be 18 or over to buy a pass.
• Do not copy, scrape, resell or republish our questions, explanations or other content.
• Do not post or send us questions from a real state test. Those tests are confidential.
• Do not try to get round the pass, or to break or overload the service.

8. Accuracy and corrections

We check every question against the manual section it cites, but mistakes can get through, and state rules change. Use the "Report a problem" link under any question. We aim to answer within three days and list every fix on the corrections page.

9. Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove questions and features. If we close Examlane, or remove a test you paid for, while your pass is running, we will refund the unused part of your pass.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for the result of your CDL test, for loss of work or earnings, or for loss caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.

11. Law and disputes

Please email us first; most problems are solved quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in the United States, you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the consumer protection laws of your state still apply to you. Nothing here removes rights that cannot be waived.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The terms in force when you bought your pass apply to that pass. We will show the date of the last change at the top of this page.

13. Our content

Examlane's questions, explanations and layout belong to YOTEZIC LTD. You may use them to study. You may not copy, scrape, resell or republish them. State CDL manuals belong to their publishers; we link to them and do not host them.

14. The whole agreement

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms, our refund policy and our privacy notice are the whole agreement between us about Examlane. The terms are in English.
