Florida CDL knowledge test: what is different
Florida lets you take each CDL knowledge test twice a day and shows you the questions you missed when you fail. Its knowledge test also asks about Florida traffic laws for your class of vehicle, which the national manual does not cover.

What Examlane does for Florida
- Examlane has no Florida traffic-law questions yet. Read the Florida driver handbook for those, alongside the CDL manual.
- Florida does not publish its question counts in the sources above, so the mock tests use the usual lengths.
Practice and choose Florida when asked.
Changes
- 2026-10-27: pass mark, retake rules and fees checked against Florida Rule 15A-7.011 and Florida Statutes ss. 322.12 and 322.21 (2026 edition).
- 2026-10-27: fee fact now gives the $48 school-system rate; the rule source links to the rule text itself.
